Nice day. Uncle Fred brought wagon & horses home pap took him home with car. We went to Waterloo this afternoon to church; & other business. Hubbard from Broad Hallow Grange was here looking for shoats. Rain tonite & cold wind from north, & thunder & lightining [sic].
