Papa is cutting corn, we cooked catsup. Emil stopped in & gave us a call. Chas. Jung stop in. George Wagner’s family came over this eve, we had watermelons. Started laying slab today by Dr. Pautler’s place going towards Waterloo, they want to lay 1800 ft. in day; have change shifts from 6 to 12 & then 12 to 6 different men. Uncle Fred went to Buehler’s.
