Went to mass. Made 2 chickens for dinner. Leo & family came & Bill [Klein] in the afternoon, all went to Red Bud Firemen’s pinic [sic] see parade, not so much, all had supper here. Uncle Fred & A. [Aunt] Mary came – 5. went to pinic [sic] at Red Bud then; awful large crowd.
