Bert washed, Leona & Billy [Willis] came, had dinner here, she helped quilt. Pap went to Con. Myerscough’s & trades 2 grayes [sic] horses, of ours to him for 2 baeys & $32.50 booth; brought them up this afternoon. Some fellows here from Renault, bought corn planter & sulby plow, cultivator for $28.00. Hy. Wiegand was here looking for oats.
