Farm Bureau Pinic [sic] at Maniers Park today, we went up after dinner, speaking, games, & musci [sic], dancing were the most, that is was. Erma Happ was awarded blue ribbon, health girl, she was 3 at Springfield. This evening we went up for dance ladies free, Moonlighters playing, & fair crowd. Mr. Eugene Bruns 31 & Adelia Weber 21 were married this afternoon, Ralph Wiegand & Luella Bruns attendants, she was all white with veil; they had an invitation wedding dance in Kammler Hall, musci [sic] from E. St. Louis & what a crowd; not so very many from around here; were there.
