We washed this morning & ironed & patched.  Papa was over at Ed Meng’s this morning to see if they had a hog rack, but he didn’t have any, so Papa went up to Eichenseer & got one there & then he loaded our hog & went out to Oscar Birkners.  This afternoon he went up in the woods.  Bertille got the mail this evening.  We got a doll sent for 3 coupons of Elgin Butter it is ready to cut out & stuffed & sewed shut & then ready to play with.
