Papa went to Henry’s, then went to Waterloo to the hog meeting, to get finished with that today, we washed. Mrs. Rhennecker has the quilt in there church pinic [sic]. We have 9 pigs born today, it was so cold, they started to get stiff, we called Mr. Rennecker over, & he got them out & brought in the house, warmed up. Mr. Nic Schaefer was here, got papa to sign his paper, that he bought 4 pigs from him on Dec. 5, 1933. Rosalia sewed Floyd a shirt.
